“The effect of massage on the human body”

Probably everyone who has at least an approximate idea of a procedure such as massage knows that massage is good. Massage relaxes or tones, heals, strengthens, improves, etc. etc. Thousands of scientific treatises have been written about the positive impact of massage procedures on the human body.

In support of this, there are vivid historical examples. For example, everyone heard the name Hippocrates – this is an outstanding doctor of the past, the father of modern medicine. Hippocrates lived in Ancient Greece, actively promoted massage, used it to treat patients and received excellent results.

However, few people know another name – Herodicos. Herodicos was a friend of his contemporary and mentor of Hippocrates, and, of course, like Hippocrates, he actively used massage to treat patients. Only unlike Hippocrates, Herodicos daily accepted the massage procedure himself. As a result, Hippocrates lived a little more than 50 years, and Herodicos more than 100!

And now, let’s try to understand how exactly massage has a positive effect on our body.

The human body is made up of cells. Everyone knows that. The cells of the body are born and die. The process of cell renewal is ongoing. Due to this process, a person, unlike animals, lives for so long. 24 hours a day, our body is busy with the most important thing – removing the decay products of old and damaged cells outside. If these products are not removed, the human body will be poisoned and death will occur.

The shell of healthy cells is inaccessible to viruses and bacteria, in addition, the immune system of a healthy (clean) body can easily cope with any problems. Places of accumulation of damaged cells and decay products of the dead – a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria.

If, in certain places, such clusters appear, the immune system ceases to cope and a disease occurs. Therefore, the root cause of all diseases is clogging and poisoning of the body with products of its own decomposition.

Our body, as a wonderful biocomputer, does not remain indifferent to our own problems and, as far as possible, tries to solve them ourselves, setting as our main task the preservation and the maximum possible continuation of life.

If the concentration of harmful substances increases, the body first tries to dilute it, which leads to the accumulation of fluid. If this step is not enough, the body distributes harmful substances into its own media and tissues. So, for example, harmful substances enter the fat cells, as in a closet, in which he removed all unnecessary, closed and forgot. Another possibility is the chemical reaction of the conversion of harmful substances into salts. But these measures are not always enough. How is massage useful in this regard?

In 1920, the Danish scientist, Nobel laureate, August Krog, made an amazing discovery, he described the mechanism of the effect of massage on the human body.

The discovery was that as a result of the massage, a certain reflex mechanism is triggered and the number of capillaries (the smallest vessels) in the open state increases by 1 square mm of the muscle fiber section from 30 to about 1400. And since it’s through the microcapillary network displays the products of cell decomposition, this process, as a result of massage, improves about 50 (!) times.

If, during the massage, we also add an element of the vacuum effect, then by about 5 times we can also increase the cross section of the capillary. Accordingly, as a result of a combination of these two effects, the intensity of the excretory processes will increase by about 250 (!) Times relative to your usual state.

I hope that now you understand why massage is so useful and why the illnesses that have tormented you for years, recede before the massage literally from the first procedures.
