WHAT IS OSTEOCHONDROSIS AND HOW TO FIGHT WITH IT?

Probably, not even being a doctor, you have repeatedly paid attention to the fact that in some families, a healthy spine is transmitted from generation to generation, while in others, osteochondrosis is transmitted in the same way.

Experience with hundreds of people suffering from osteochondrosis makes me inclined to the theory of the occurrence of osteochondrosis, which is based on urate diathesis. Everyone knows the word diathesis, usually it means allergic diathesis, or more often allergic dermatitis. We are talking about urate diathesis. What is this?

Uric acid diathesis is not a disease, but a predisposition to an increased content of uric acid in the blood. Uric acid is in the blood of every person – someone has more, someone less. Under favorable external conditions, you can live your whole life with uric acid diathesis, but never find out about the diseases that follow it.

To draw conclusions about the increased content of uric acid in the blood, it is possible by indirect signs. First of all, an increased content of uric acid has an exciting effect on the brain. Usually, children with an increased concentration of uric acid study well, but not perfectly, because they can not sit on the solution of the same problem for a long time. Surely, you heard the expression “urine hit in the head”, implying an unusually excessive activity of the one in question. Now you understand that such an expression has almost literal meaning. At an older age, an excess of uric acid manifests itself by the deposition of its metabolic products in the tissues of the body. Usually, this is plaque on the teeth, sand in the urine and cholelithiasis, the so-called “Tartar” or, for example, in joints, in the form of spikes, calcaneal spurs, cones. In general, if at least someone in your family had gout, and you have osteochondrosis, the reason for its occurrence is precisely uric acid diathesis.

But how can uric acid contribute to osteochondrosis? Osteochondrosis is a decrease in the height of the spinal disc. At about 25 years old, nutrition of the spinal disc occurs as a result of diffusion and osmosis – leakage of substances into the spinal disc. Because by this age, arteries that feed the disc usually close. Therefore, if the uric acid content in the blood is excessive, its metabolic products settle on the tissues of the disk, and the deposition of uric acid salts on the arched joints leads to their arthrosis, further exacerbating the patient’s condition. And it ends this bleak picture of spondlesis – the fusion of neighboring vertebrae due to ossification of the connective tissue.

How to be Of course, we are not able to change the metabolism and cure uric acid diathesis, which is the cause of the problems described above, but we can do it so that you live without pronounced manifestations of uric acid diathesis.

Here are the main ways to prevent it:

1. The easiest way to reduce the concentration of uric acid by dilution. In addition, increase the excretion of uric acid directly with urine. To do this, you need to drink more. A good result is the amount of liquid 2 liters per day. Yogis drink even more. Just do not immediately try to reach the level of yoga! It will lead to nothing but edema. You need to increase the volume gradually, comfortably for yourself. Just make the water always visible. I remembered – took a few sips. If, in this way, we can reduce the concentration of uric acid in the blood, we can also reduce the deposition of its metabolic products in the tissues.

2. The second way is to increase the excretion of uric acid with bile. There are two positive points here. Firstly, you will reduce the concentration of uric acid in the blood, and secondly, eliminate the conditions for stagnation of bile and the formation of sand and stones in the biliary tract. For this you need food more often, but not more! In addition, the option of just eating more often will not work. It is also necessary to eat at the same time. You will accustom your body to biorhythms – and this is a terribly important and useful force.

3. The third way is to limit your diet to foods rich in substances that form uric acid salts. (Meat and broths from it, liver, kidneys, brains, tongue, peas, beans. Especially try to exclude coffee, strong tea and chocolate, dry red wines, beer and champagne from the diet.
Although, if you follow the first two ways, you can periodically turn off the third one, without unpleasant consequences))).

4. Well, of course, always remember that such wonderful therapeutic and prophylactic agents as a simulator for unloading and correction of the spine and a variety of massage procedures can put you on your feet even in the most difficult and neglected cases.
